                            - Clinical paper resulting from Chris Hancock’s research at Bangor and spinout Creo Medical describing new RF/Microwave electrosurgery procedure moving treatment of early-stage colon cancer from hospital theatres to endoscopy suites, significantly reducing treatment time and NHS cost (by over £5K/procedure). Contributed to Hancock lead authorship on invited paper (IEEE Microwave Magazine doi: 10.1109/MMM.2014.2377571) and resulted in wide international readership within IEEE-MTT and European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy communities (over 100,000 members). Formed substantial part of technical/clinical due diligence of Dowgate Capital <Shane.DeBhrun-Smith@dowgate.co.uk> when Creo Medical was floated on London Stock Exchange in 2016. Stock value as of Dec 2020 £330m.
