- A new model using and ranking critical success factors in renewable energy projects was subsequently developed to propose new policy formulations to avoid variation orders (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.scitotenv.2020.140811). The prioritization of success factors has also underpinned new attempts to evaluate the financial performance of complex renewable energy projects (https://doi.org/10.1002/sd.2089). The paper formed the basis of invited talks at Nanchang University (Prof Deng, dxp@seu.edu.cn), at the University of Science and Technology of China (zhijianc@ustc.edu.cn) and led to ongoing collaborations with the Northwestern Normal University Business School (https://sxy.nwnu.edu.cn/2019/0604/c2000a120378/page.htm).
