- This open-access epigraphic corpus presents the result of sustained research over 20 years into the epigraphic culture of ancient Sicily. Over 3,300 individual editions are encoded to the latest standards (to which the project contributes), based upon bibliographic research (900+ items in an open-access bibliography) and autopsy (c.1,000 inscriptions newly catalogued and photographed). An innovative publication model ensures stable citation and retrieval alongside continued research and revision. This unique dataset is available for detailed search and analysis, transforming research into Sicilian epigraphic culture (including 21 publications by the PI), and has supported award-winning collaborative projects and new public exhibitions.
