                            - LLZrO materials have high conductivities for solid battery electrolytes however they fall short of leading liquid/polymer electrolytes this work shows ways to address this to allow benefits of improved safety and stability. Resulted from a successful collaboration between the UK, Japan (Kyoto University and Nagoya Institute of Technology) and Spain (CIC Energigune). It was culmination of 6 month secondment by Jalem from Nagoya to UK and allowed him to secure a position at the National Institute of Materials Science (NIMS, Japan). Resulted in invited talk for Rushton at ISceNT conference (Nagoya) and technical visit to NIMS, continuing the collaboration.
