                            - This paper describes the science and technology behind the Cardio-metabolic Risk Self-assessment and Self-monitoring device, the “Wize Mirror”, resulting from an international, multi-centre, interdisciplinary research effort under the FP7 SEMEOTICONS €5,383,126 project. It was judged as “Outstanding” by the EU experts’ evaluation panel who highlighted a significant commercialisation potential of the Wize Mirror. Currently, the device is at level six of the Technology Readiness Level and its commercialisation scope is being evaluated by the BeWize start-up established by the ISTI CNR in Pisa.
