                            - Arising from FP7-PIRSES-612267 (iPhoto-Bio/PI:X.Chen/€252K), this work reports a nano-dBSA functionalised graphene-FET biosensor for highly sensitive and selective detection of cancer biomarker. It led to 1 EU grant H2020-MSCA-RISE-872049 (PI:X.Chen/€1million) and 2 collaborative international grants (within iPhoto-Bio consortium): the ‘Key R&D Plan’ (2019YFA0108202, PI:J.Zhao/jlzhao@mail.sim.ac.cn/RMB:6.5M) and the Chinese Academy of Sciences program (CAS-KFJ-STS-ZDTP-061-2019, PI:H.Mao/hjmao@mail.sim.ac.cn/RMB:6M) which Bangor is a co-investigator. Further significance is evidenced from commercial consultancy work with Arden Photonics Ltd (david.robinson@ardenphotonics.com), FYLA Laser Ltd (ppmillan@fyla.com) and Summa Semiconductor Ltd (sami.suihkonen@summasemi.com).
