                            - Outcome produced in collaboration with the University of Leeds. The efficient multi-frontal solver reported in the article formed the key underpinnings of Veremieiev’s successful EPSRC first grant (EP/P011071/1) directed at investigating the stability of thin films and the creation of a predictive tool for use by industry to improve production quality. To this end 3 companies specialising in coatings and print manufacturing technologies (in particular the mass production of thin film solar cells, Solaris Photonics Ltd.) provided in-kind contributions to the grant and were actively involved with and steering the progress of the research.
