                            - This paper presents a strategic framework for seamlessly achieving energy conservation in datacentres whilst utilising the mobile resources to full effect, herein most of the task execution can be hosted at the near-end where possible based on a multi-tier processing architecture. This work is significant for energy-efficient mobile cloud applications as it presents a situation-aware strategic framework whereby mobile resources are commissioned when required and released when overwhelmed. Such a dynamic strategic framework that simultaneously addresses energy, resource scarcity and latency sensitivity with situation-awareness has never been addressed before within mobile cloud computing.
