- 'Promises of the Political' is a thoroughly reworked and updated monograph that builds on a series of successive papers and research projects that formed a singular research program, spanning the period 2010-2017. Some of the material has been published in a different form before 2014 (chapters 1 and 2, and chapters 4 and 5), others are based on research undertaken since 2014. All chapters have been revised to form a single coherent and sustained argument.
