                            - This publication won the "2017 GeoRisk most cited paper award" and the "Georisk 2014 best paper award", which involved the Editor's invitation to publish a message featuring the main findings. The paper demonstrates how to use available in-situ geotechnical data more efficiently and its content has been disseminated internationally at keynote/feature lectures delivered by the third author (https://research.tudelft.nl/en/activities/recent-developments-in-the-numerical-modelling-of-slope-failure and http://www.ic2e.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Program_final_rev.pdf) and was taught in a lecture of the prestigious 2014 ALERT Doctoral School (http://alertgeomaterials.eu/data/school/2014/2014_ALERT_schoolbook.pdf). Its significance has had an impact on the early career of the lead author, including appointments to the editorial boards of Geotechnique and Canadian Geotechnical Journal.
