                            - This work initiated the international collaboration between Reyes-Aldasoro and Kather. The output describes a novel technique that provides automatic and unbiased measurements used by pathologists. Use of these measurements have a high correlation with patient survival and thus are important in the treatment and diagnosis of cancers. The technique is based on two previous papers (Reyes-Aldasoro Journal of Microscopy 2011; Microvascular Research 2012). Ideas further developed by Reyes-Aldasoro and Kather in prestigious publications: Cancers, PLOS Medicine, Scientific Reports, Nature Medicine, ECDP.
