                            - This work focuses on constructing optimal quantum circuits that employ a minimum number of CNOT gates for near-term quantum devices. As a result of the published work, UK-based banking institutions sought the author's expert input into their decision making, which has led to direct, ongoing consultations (Deutsche Bank Andrew Wray COO Chief Security Office andrew.wray@db.com; Aleksandr Oysgelt Director Technology & Innovation Deutsche Bank Labs Palo Alto aleksandr.oysgelt@db.com; Ceri Godwin CIO Santander UK ceri.godwin@santander.co.uk; Marcus Ludwig Director Santander UK Risk marcus.ludwiga@santander.co.uk, and Refinitiv John Finch CIO.
